Grieving over the loss of Anika, Stellan encourages Nikko to stay with the tribe. They can be his new family. Nikko has come to rely solely on himself and enjoys the freedom that affords him, but reluctantly he agrees. Unfortunately, it’s only a matter of time before Levin tracks Nikko down. Bringing his elite squad of soldiers, Levin and his men lay siege on Stellan’s Compound. The attack is brutal. Nearly caught, Nikko finds a safe hiding spot as Levin and his soldiers finally reach Stellan. The tribe leader musters whatever dignity he has left to face his enemy. Levin demands that he tell him where to find Nikko, but Stellan would rather die than betray the only glimmer of hope left in the world. Having no choice but to stay hidden, Nikko is helpless to stop Levin from murdering the man he has come to trust and love. Annoyed at letting Nikko slip through his fingers yet again, Levin leaves with his troops. But this is far from over. Nikko emerges from his hiding place to find all seven lives snuffed out. People that Nikko cared for are all dead and he’s once again alone in this harsh and unforgiving world.
