Now a man in his early 20’s, Nikko has learned to survive and adapt to the hostile environment that is his world. Once again withdrawing into seclusion, he has made a new home on the 8th floor of an abandoned factory. The only thing missing is companionship, but he has been used to being alone. Everything is geared towards survival and fashioned to his needs. Along with living spaces, he has a workshop and a place to train his mind and body. This gives him a sense of control and safety. Nevertheless, he is still hyper diligent and aware that danger abounds, and an attack can happen at any time. So, he has protected his new home against intruders with elaborate detection systems and deadly boobytraps. Yet his peace of mind is plagued by wild visions and painful hallucinations consisting of strange numbers and codes. Nikko’s only solace is to write them along the walls and attempt to decipher their meaning. Even though his intelligence level is off the charts, these mathematical equations are beyond his understanding and make him restless causing many a sleepless night.
