TRICOR’s lead geneticist, DR. Mikasa Kim spearheaded the stem cell research that focused on regenerative medicine and reproductive cloning. Due to this, she has become a surrogate mother to the young boy who is still quite naive in the ways of the world. A growing concern about the true purpose of the Nikko project has tainted Dr. Kim’s resolve. Without her consent or supervision, Nikko has been taken out of her care for days at a time and returned without explanation. The young boy would have no memory of the events during his absences and show signs of physical abuse. Conducting her own tests, Dr. Kim discovers that Nikko’s genetics have been tampered with, enhancing his strength and aggressive tendencies. Her apprehension falls on deaf ears. Having grown attached to the young boy as more than just a scientific curiosity, she makes a bold choice… She enlists the help of her colleague Dr. Nguyen to help plan her escape.
